🙏 Psalm 13
Summary
Psalm 13 expresses the anguish of someone who feels forgotten and asks God how long they will have to wait for an answer. It is a sincere prayer that begins in sadness and ends in trust. Even in the midst of waiting, the psalmist chooses to continue believing in God's mercy.
Reflection
There are moments when we also ask, “How long, Lord?”
We wait for an answer, for a change, for a solution that seems slow to come. And when the silence continues, we may feel that our prayers have not been heard.
But God knows what we carry within us, even the things we cannot explain.
Waiting can be difficult, but it does not mean that we have been abandoned. Some answers come at a time we do not understand, but God knows the right time.
When your heart is weary, do not be afraid to speak to God about your pain. He does not expect perfect words; He simply wants a sincere heart.
Teaching
Even when we cannot perceive God's presence, we can continue to trust in His love.
Faith does not mean that we never feel sadness or fear. It means continuing to walk, even when we cannot yet see the entire path.
Prayer
Lord, when I become tired of waiting, strengthen my faith.
When the silence seems too great, remind me that You never abandon those who trust in You.
Calm my heart, renew my hope, and teach me to wait with confidence.
May I never allow sadness to become greater than my faith.
I place before You my worries, my requests, and everything I keep in silence.
Stay with me, Lord, and guide my steps.
Amen. 🙏🌷
