Mary Visits Elizabeth: the meeting of faith and promise

After receiving the news that she would become a mother, Mary did not remain focused only on herself.

Moved by love and faith, she set out quickly to visit her cousin Elizabeth, who was also living a miracle in her life.

When she arrived, something extraordinary happened.
At the sound of Mary’s greeting, the child in Elizabeth’s womb leaped for joy, recognizing, even in silence, the presence of the Savior.

Filled with the Holy Spirit, Elizabeth exclaimed with joy and admiration:
“Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear!”

In that moment, it was not just two women…
it was faith recognizing faith, promise meeting promise,
and God confirming, in a simple and profound way, what He had begun.

Mary then responds with praise, exalting the greatness of God and acknowledging that everything came from Him.

She did not place herself above others,
nor did she seek honor for herself…
but glorified the One who makes the impossible possible.

And in that encounter, filled with presence,
it became clear that when God is at the center,
even silence is filled with joy,
and promises begin to blossom. 🌿✨

Após receber a notícia de que seria mãe, Maria não permaneceu voltada apenas para si.

Movida pelo amor e pela fé, ela partiu apressadamente para visitar sua prima Isabel, que também vivia um milagre em sua vida.

Ao chegar, algo extraordinário aconteceu.
Ao ouvir a saudação de Maria, a criança no ventre de Isabel saltou de alegria, reconhecendo, ainda no silêncio, a presença do Salvador.

Isabel, cheia do Espírito Santo, exclamou com alegria e admiração:
“Bendita és tu entre as mulheres, e bendito é o fruto do teu ventre!”

Naquele encontro, não havia apenas duas mulheres…
havia fé reconhecendo fé, promessa encontrando promessa,
e Deus confirmando, de forma simples e profunda, aquilo que havia começado.

Maria, então, responde com louvor, exaltando a grandeza de Deus e reconhecendo que tudo vinha d’Ele.

Ela não se colocou acima,
não buscou honra para si…
mas glorificou Aquele que realiza o impossível.

E naquele encontro cheio de presença,
ficou marcado que quando Deus está no centro,
até o silêncio se enche de alegria,
e as promessas começam a florescer. 🌿✨

 

Morning Reflection

Just as a fine perfume can be altered by something very small, our words also have the power to transform environments, feelings, and relationships.

Many times, without realizing it, we say things carelessly… and what seems simple can deeply affect someone’s heart.

On the other hand, a word of kindness, support, or understanding can bring peace, restore, and strengthen bonds.

Everything begins within.
What we carry in our hearts will inevitably be reflected in our actions — and especially in our words.

So today is a day to observe, reflect, and choose more wisely what we say.

Muitas vezes, sem perceber, dizemos algo sem cuidado… e aquilo que parecia simples pode marcar profundamente o coração de alguém.

Por outro lado, uma palavra de carinho, de apoio ou de compreensão pode trazer paz, restaurar e fortalecer laços.

Tudo começa no interior.
Aquilo que carregamos no coração inevitavelmente será refletido em nossas atitudes e, principalmente, em nossas palavras.

Por isso, hoje é um dia para observar, refletir e escolher com mais sabedoria aquilo que dizemos.

🌿 Morning Reflection

There are days when the heart feels heavy…
when suffering seems louder than hope,
and the soul grows tired of trying to understand why so many struggles exist.

But it is precisely in these moments that God’s mercy reveals itself with greater tenderness.
Not as the absence of pain,
but as a living presence within it.

God does not ignore your suffering.
He walks with you through it.
In silence, He wipes every tear that no one else sees…
and little by little, He transforms pain into learning, into strength, into renewal.

God’s comfort does not always come as an immediate answer,
but as an invisible embrace that sustains you when everything feels like it is falling apart.
And it is within this quiet care that hope begins to bloom again.

Há dias em que o coração pesa…
em que o sofrimento parece falar mais alto do que a esperança,
e a alma se cansa de tentar entender o porquê de tantas lutas.

Mas é justamente nesses momentos que a misericórdia de Deus se revela com mais ternura.
Não como ausência da dor,
mas como presença viva no meio dela.

Deus não ignora o seu sofrimento.
Ele caminha com você dentro dele.
Enxuga, em silêncio, cada lágrima que ninguém vê…
e transforma, pouco a pouco, a dor em aprendizado, em força, em renascimento.

O consolo de Deus não chega sempre como resposta imediata,
mas como um abraço invisível que sustenta quando tudo parece desabar.
E é nesse cuidado silencioso que a esperança começa a florescer novamente.

A fé não elimina o sofrimento, mas ilumina o caminho para atravessá-lo com amor, coragem e confiança na misericórdia divina.
