“And if anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?”

🌿 Summary
Jesus shows us that true love is not found only in words, but in our actions. Those who know the difficulties of life and, even when they have little, are able to share with those in need reveal the richness of a generous heart.
💭 Reflection
There are people who work hard to earn their daily bread. They know tiredness, difficulties, and worries, but they do not allow these hardships to harden their hearts.
When they encounter someone in need, they share what they have. It may seem like very little in the eyes of the world, but before God, such an act can have immense value.
The purity of a heart is revealed precisely in these moments: when someone could think only of themselves, but chooses instead to reach out to another person.
🙏 Teaching
Jesus teaches us that we do not need to have much in order to do good. Sometimes, a piece of bread, a kind word, a quiet act of help, or a gesture of affection can mean so much to someone who is going through hardship.
True goodness does not seek applause. It comes from a heart that has learned to love.
🕊️ Prayer
Lord Jesus,
teach us to have a pure, generous heart that is sensitive to the needs of those who walk beside us.
May we never allow life's difficulties to make us indifferent to the pain of our brothers and sisters.
Give us strength to work with dignity, humility to recognize our own limitations, and love to share what we have.
Bless those who struggle each day for their daily bread, and those who, even when they have little, still find the strength to share with those in need.
May our hands always be ready to help and our hearts open to love.
