Psalm 7
📖 Summary
Psalm 7 is a prayer of someone who places their trust in God in the face of injustice and accusations. The psalmist asks God to be his refuge and to judge with justice, because only God truly knows each person's heart.
🌿 Reflection
We will not always be understood or treated fairly. Some words may hurt us, and some actions may place stones in our path.
But Jesus teaches us not to respond to aggression with more aggression. When we place our trust in God, we find the wisdom to remain peaceful and the strength to continue.
The stones that were placed in our path to make us stumble can, with God's help, become part of the road that leads us forward.
✨ Teaching
We do not need to prove our truth to everyone. God knows our hearts.
When we are treated unjustly, we can choose wisdom instead of anger, silence instead of arguments, and faith instead of discouragement.
Those who walk with God do not need to abandon their path because of those who try to stop them.
🙏 Prayer
Lord my God,
when unjust words hurt me, give me the wisdom not to respond with the same feelings.
When stones are placed in my path, help me transform them into strength to keep moving forward.
Be my refuge in times of difficulty, my protection in the face of injustice, and my light when I do not know which path to take.
May I never allow the evil of others to take away the peace in my heart.
Teach me to trust in You, because You know the truth and You know my heart.
Amen. 🙏🌿
