Morning Reflection
As Jesus walked among the people, He encountered all kinds of individuals: the sick, the poor, beggars, those who were suffering, sinners, people lost in their own mistakes, and even those who harmed others through lies, deceit, and injustice.
Jesus never ignored wrongdoing, but neither did He stop seeing the person behind it. To those who suffered, He offered comfort and hope. To the sick, He brought healing and faith. To the poor and needy, He showed that they were loved by God. To those living in falsehood and deception, He called for repentance, a change of heart, and a commitment to the truth.
Jesus taught that no one can build a lasting life upon dishonesty, exploitation, or injustice. Every action has consequences, and every seed planted will eventually bear fruit. Therefore, He encouraged honesty, mercy, forgiveness, meaningful work, and respect for others.
To those who cheated, deceived, or took advantage of their brothers and sisters, Jesus showed that true treasure is not found in what is gained through dishonesty, but in the peace of a clear conscience and in the spiritual riches that come from love and righteousness.
If Jesus were speaking to us today, He might say:
"My children, love one another. Do not build your lives upon lies, for the truth will always prevail. Do not do to others what you would not want done to yourselves. If you have made mistakes, repent and begin again. If you are suffering, do not lose hope. If you are weary, come to Me, and you will find rest for your souls. Cultivate faith, kindness, and mercy, for whatever you sow, you shall also reap."
May we reflect today on our words, actions, and choices, seeking to follow Christ's teachings with humility, love, and sincerity. God always offers a new beginning to those who desire to walk in the light and in the truth.
